Verkiezingen in Egypte: wie is Hamdeen Sabahi? (Blendle)

Mijn eerste stuk op Blendle over de kansloze (en enige) tegenkandidaat van Sisi: Hamdeen Sabahi. 

'Presidentskandidaat Egypte wil verbod op sociale media, alcohol, demonstraties en stakingen'

'Op 26 en 27 mei kiest Egypte een nieuwe president. Dat voormalig legerleider Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi deze verkiezingen met een overweldigende meerderheid gaat winnen lijkt vrijwel zeker, maar dat weerhoudt sommigen er toch niet van om ook een gokje te wagen. 

Een van de meest in het oog springende kandidaten is Mortada Mansour, een voormalig rechter, tegenwoordig werkzaam als advocaat. Mansour houdt er nogal radicale plannen op na, mocht hij de nieuwe president van Egypte worden.'
