Election day!

Today and tomorrow, the 23rd and the 24th of May, Egyptians get to choose their first democratically elected president.
Almost everybody I have talked to about the elections these past couple of weeks has been super excited, especially young people that get to vote for the first time.

For the longest time I thought it was going to be a race between Amr Moussa and Abdel Monein Abul Fotouh, but the last couple of days a lot of people seem to have changed to minds in favour of Hamdeen Sabahi.

In case of a close call, there will be a run-off on the 16th and 17th of June. Happy election day everybody!
